Wow -- I've been noticed!

Isn't it kind of crazy that somebody wants to read what you've written?  Does that ever get old?  It kind of makes me smile from ear to ear.  Seriously.  I'm grinning on this end.

And this is why:

So, I got an email today from Emma over at Random Ramblings, informing me that she's passed on the Liebster Award to my little blog.  This award is given to a blog with less than 200 followers.  The idea is to draw attention to up and coming blogs so that more awesome readers can find them.  I think this is a fabulous way to do it.

The rules for this award are pretty simple.  Basically, if you are selected, you:
1. Choose FIVE up and coming blogs to pass this award on to.  They must have less than 200 followers.
2. Show a big thanks to the blogger who gave you the award by linking back to them.
3. Post the award on your blog.  List the bloggers you are giving the award to with links to their sites.

So, I know the question on everyone's mind.  Who will I be passing this award on to?  The answer?  Read on:

1. Peaches and Maple is a great little blog.  Lots of cool, clean style here with some neat ideas for your own home.
2. Jen over at Harrison Home also has some really cool ideas for home decor.  Her blog is clean and easy to read.
3. Samm's blog, Little House in the Big D, has so many cool projects that you'll have to go there for yourself to see them.  Love the stenciled desk -- I. Want.
4. Melissa has some awesome furniture redo ideas on her blog, No. 2 Pencil {Creative Homemaking}.  I'm drooling over her white side table...her turquoise dresser...her industrial file cabinet...need I go on?
5. Sara at Applestone Drive has an amazing blog.  She writes about decorating her home and her projects, but isn't afraid to share her faith, her views, and the way it's transformed her life.  I would love it if you would go check her out and show her some love.
